how rituals heal the earth
Witchy rituals are sacred practices that not only help us align with our inner magic but also deepen our connection to the Earth and her cycles. When we perform rituals such as opening a circle, setting intentions, or working with lunar phases, we tap into the energies of the natural world and honor our place within it.
These practices remind us of the interconnectedness of all things. Cleansing and clearing create space for renewal, much like the Earth sheds and regenerates through her seasons. Connecting with guides and ancestors allows us to draw on ancient wisdom, grounding us in the continuity of life and the stewardship of the Earth. Other spells and dream work invite us to release negativity and nurture harmony within ourselves and with the world around us.
Every ritual is an act of mindfulness and reverence, fostering an energetic exchange with the Earth. As we heal ourselves, release what no longer serves, and set intentions for growth, we contribute to the Earth’s healing by aligning with her rhythms and amplifying her energy. These rituals are not just for personal transformation—they are offerings to the Earth Mother, reminding us that when we nurture our connection to her, we nurture her well-being as well.
earth healing rituals
Our four steps to healing the Earth—Awaken, Love, Cleanse, and Mend—guide us in restoring balance to the planet and ourselves. Awaken calls us to reconnect with the Earth’s sacredness and rhythms, inspiring rituals like grounding meditations and seasonal reflections. Love teaches us to honor the Earth with gratitude and care, through rituals like offerings and acts of sustainability. Cleanse invites us to clear away pollution and negativity, with practices like smoke cleansing or energy clearing ceremonies. Finally, Mend focuses on repairing what’s broken, from planting trees to rebuilding ecosystems, embodying the transformative power of ritual and action. Together, these steps create a holistic approach to healing the Earth and our connection to her. 🌎✨

These rituals focus on clearing negativity, removing harm, and creating space for renewal—both within ourselves and for the Earth. By cleansing what no longer serves, we can pave the way for healing and growth.
1. Smoke Cleansing for the Earth 🌿
Purpose: To energetically clear a space and release negativity from the Earth and yourself.
What You’ll Need: Dried herbs like rosemary, lavender, or ethically sourced sage; a fireproof bowl.Steps:
Choose a natural space that feels in need of cleansing, such as your garden or a local park.
Light the dried herbs and let the smoke rise, holding the fireproof bowl underneath for safety.
Walk around the space, wafting the smoke with your hand or a feather, and say, “I release all harm and negativity from this space. May it be renewed and healed.”

Extinguish the herbs safely and bury the ashes in the Earth as a final offering.
2. Water Cleansing Ritual 💧

As you finish, reflect on how this act has contributed to the Earth’s renewal and your connection to her.
Dispose of the trash responsibly and take a moment to express gratitude for the Earth’s beauty.

1. Planting for Renewal 🌳
Purpose: To restore balance and contribute to the Earth’s healing through growth.
What You’ll Need: Seeds or young plants, soil, and a quiet space for planting.Steps:
Choose a plant that aligns with your intention, such as a tree for grounding or wildflowers for pollinators.
Hold the seeds or plant in your hands and set an intention for healing and renewal. Say, “I plant this with love to mend the Earth and honor her cycles.”

As you finish, take a moment to reflect on the interconnectedness of life and your role in its healing.
3. Collaborative Earth Healing Ceremony 🌍
Purpose: To repair harm and foster connection through community effort.
What You’ll Need: A small group of people, tools for restoration (e.g., for planting or clearing debris), and an intention for collective healing.Steps:

Individual Ritual Magic
At The Goddess Coven, we want to empower you to make your own choices. That said, individual rituals in particular should not be done impulsively, but with deep consideration. Please respect the rituals origins, especially if tied to cultures or religions not your own. We suggest connecting with your guides or nature to seek permission and reflect on how you wish to engage with each ritual. Please check out our Embodiment Practices Grimoire as well to help resource yourself.
Whenever you do a ritual, it is best practice to ask yourself—does this serve the highest good for all? If not, how can you adapt the ritual so it does? Try adding “if this I ask is in the highest good of all” to the end of spells and rituals.
THE BASICS
Learn and expand your essential practice basics. These rituals are the backbone of all the others to come and can help deepen your connection to yourself, your guides, ancestors, the universe, and the flow of life.
They are all considered light magic practices and as such are relatively safe to play with until you find the flow that works for you.
Create your own way of being a spiritual being!

Opening a circle is a great way to start any ritual and call in support of the elements and your guides, or other light beings. When we practice more advanced rituals, there can be an energy drain if you use too much of your personal energy to cast a spell. By opening a circle, you connect to nature and invite her energy to support your rituals. You can even do this before cleansing and clearing practices.
Example (feel free to use this, or adjust accordingly):
Calling the Five Elements to Open the Witch Circle
"We invoke the elements of nature to open this sacred space with gratitude in our hearts.
Element of Earth, sturdy and steadfast, we call upon you. Ground us in your nurturing embrace—grant us stability, strength, and connection to the wisdom of the ancestors. Feel your roots weave deep into the soil, anchoring us in this moment.
Element of Air, playful whispers and vibrant thoughts, we summon you. Fill our minds with clarity and inspiration as you dance through our lungs. May your breezes carry our intentions high, touching the realms of the unseen.
Element of Fire, fierce and radiant, we invite you to ignite our spirits! Burn brightly within our circle, fueling our passions and creativity. May your flames guide us through transformation and illuminate our path ahead.
Element of Water, fluid and ever-changing, we seek your soothing embrace. Flow through us with your gentle touch, washing away doubts and fears. Let your tides bring us harmony and deep intuition, as we tap into the currents of our emotions.
Element of Spirit, the ethereal force weaving us together, we call upon your presence. Fill our hearts with love and unity, binding us in this sacred moment. Together, we create a tapestry of energy, a circle unbroken, where all is possible.
With the elements in our hearts and minds, we stand together as one. The circle is cast, the energies aligned. Let our magic unfold! 🌟"
BONUS: Use crystals that coordinate with each element, perhaps holding them as you call in the elements.

When it comes to banishing negativity and inviting positivity into your space, witchy cleansing and clearing practices are your best friends. Get ready to transform your space into a harmonious haven with these playful rituals!
1. Herbal Smudging
Gather your favorite herbs like sage, sweetgrass, or lavender. You may also burn palo santo wood. Light the end of your bundle (unless it is sage, which is sacred and should be used mindfully by lighting a single leaf at a time) and let the smoke waft around your space, focusing on corners and areas that feel heavy. As you cleanse, envision the smoke carrying away any stagnant energy, perhaps through an open window or door. This practice can not only clear the air but also fill it with soothing vibes!
2. Salt Cleansing
Salt is nature's little powerhouse! Sprinkle sea salt across windowsills and doorways to ward off negative energies. For a deeper cleanse, create a saltwater solution and use it to wipe down surfaces or soak crystals (that are non water soluble, like quartz). I also highly recommend regular salt baths if they are available to you. If you have access to dead sea salt, use that. Bonus points if you leave a bowl of salt water in a corner overnight to absorb unwanted vibes!
3. Crystal Clearing
Crystals can absorb energy, so they need some TLC too! Charge your crystals under the full moon to refresh their energies or cleanse them with sage smoke. Place them around your space according to their properties—amethyst for tranquility, citrine for abundance, or black tourmaline for protection.
4. Sound Bathing
Create a symphony of cleansing with sound! Use a singing bowl, bells, or even your voice to create vibrations. As you play, imagine the sound waves sweeping away negativity and filling your space with joy. You can also use drumming or rattling; just let the rhythm take you on a clearing adventure!
5. Floor Sweeping Ritual
Put a twirl in your broomstick and turn your floor-sweeping into a ritual! As you sweep, focus on visualizing all the negativity leaving your home. You can even chant an affirmation or a spell as you move. Dispose of the dust outside to symbolize the removal of old energies!
6. Intentional Decluttering
Physical clutter can weigh down your energy. Next time you declutter, do it with intention! As you sort through items, ask yourself if they still serve you. For everything you release, envision a fresh wave of positivity entering your space. Create a donation box to spread the love!
7. Moon Water Infusion
Harness the power of the moon by creating moon water! Fill a jar with clean water and leave it outside under the full moon overnight. Use this enchanted water to cleanse your space, anoint crystals, or even water your plants. It's a magical way to bring lunar energies into your life!
8. Visualization & Affirmations
Sometimes, the most powerful tool is your mind! Sit or sway comfortably, breathe deeply, and visualize a bright light surrounding your space. Imagine it dissolving any negativity and filling you with peace. Pair this with affirmations like “My space is clear and filled with good vibes” to amplify your intention.
Embrace these witchy cleansing practices to keep your space buzzing with positive energy. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, these playful rituals will help you create a sacred sanctuary that feels just right! ✨✨

After opening a sacred space, perhaps through a grounding meditation, or the opening circle above, you can choose to call in your guides and ancestors. The intention can be to simply connect with them deeper, or to ask for assistance and support around an advanced ritual or some aspect of your life.
State Your Intention: Clearly articulate why you're calling them in. Speak out loud or write it down. Your intention sets the stage for the connection you want to foster.
Example: "I invite my spirit guides and ancestors to join me in this sacred space to offer their wisdom and support."
Use Symbols: Consider using crystals, tarot cards, or charms to enhance your connection. Each tool carries its own energy and can help channel messages from the spirit realm.
Invoke Their Presence: Light a candle or incense specifically for this purpose. As the flame flickers, envision it as a beacon calling in your guides.
Engage with Them
Meditate: Enter a meditative state, focusing on emptying your mind. Allow thoughts to drift away and make space for messages from your guides.
Listen for Messages: Pay attention to your intuition, feelings, or any images that come to mind. These can be signs that your guides or ancestors are nearby. Sometimes it is helpful to have a journal nearby to write down or draw anything that comes up for you in the moment.
Express Gratitude
Thank Them: After your session, express gratitude for their presence and insights. Acknowledging their help strengthens the bond you share.
Close the Space: When finished, formally close your practice, perhaps by using the closing a circle practice below.
Ritualize Your Practice
Reflect: Journal or dance with or create from your experiences, feelings, and any messages received. Reflection solidifies the connection and helps you track your spiritual journey.
Make It Regular: Establish a routine for calling in your guides. The more you practice, the stronger your connection will become.
By using these steps, you're opening the door to a deeper relationship with your spirit guides perhaps including some goddesses you discover through our workshops and ancestors, allowing their wisdom to lead you along your path. Happy calling!
-
Making an offering can be a ritual in itself or added to any other ritual. Sometimes, we can make an offering in exchange for a request, but it is also important to make offerings whenever you feel called to as a gratitude practice.
I like to make an offering of water at every ritual to my guides, ancestors, and any and all light beings. Other offerings can be made in addition that are tailored to the ritual and the moment.
Starter List of Offerings
Fresh Flowers
Bright, fragrant blooms to brighten your altar and attract positive energy.Candles

Regularly jot down things you are grateful for, recognizing your guides’ role in your life.Acts of Kindness
Extend your connection by performing kind acts for others in your guides' honor—a lovely way to spread love!
An important consideration is what you will do with your offering if it is a physical one after the ritual. Offerings ideally should not go in the trash. Some can stay out. For instance, I keep an offering bowl of water full at all times on my alter along with crystals. Other offerings can be donated to those in need, burned in fire, or returned to nature.
Explore these offerings and find what resonates with you for nurturing that playful bond with your ancestors, guides, goddesses, or nature!
-
Closing a circle is a time to express gratitude to all the energies that have come to your aid, be it the elements, celestial bodies, ancestors, angels, goddesses, animals or other guides. It marks the end of ritual space with intention and aids in transitioning back into your everyday life. In addition to gratitudes, it is helpful to have a saying you use to close every circle. I use "blessed be", but other examples could include "so mote it be", "thank you", or even "namaste" or "amen" depending on your individual beliefs.
Example:
"In this sacred space, let us express our gratitude. Oh, Mother Earth, thank you for your fertile soil and vibrant flora that nourish us and inspire our dreams. We honor the whispering trees, the life-giving rivers, and the warm skies above. We are grateful for the winds that dance through our hair and the sun that kisses our faces, reminding us of life’s cycles.
We acknowledge the cosmos, the twinkling stars, and the radiant moon that illuminate our path. Thank you for the magic that connects us all in this universe.
As we close this circle, releasing any and all light beings, guides, and ancestors, let gratitude shine within us, guiding our steps and reminding us of our connection to nature and the universe. With a final breath, we release our energy back to the earth, skies, and stars, thankful for all we've shared.
Blessed be! 🌙✨"

As the luminous full moon ascends in the night sky, it's the perfect time to gather your intentions and release what no longer serves you. Here’s a playful and powerful practice to help you tap into the moon's magic!
What You’ll Need:
A quiet space to connect with the moon’s energy
A white candle (for purifying)
Paper and a pen
A fire-safe container (for burning paper)
Optional: crystals such as Selenite, Smokey Quartz, Black Tourmaline or Hematite
Steps to Follow:
Open Circle: Find a cozy spot where the moonlight shines through. Set up your candle in front of you, and arrange your crystals around it for extra protection and energy. Then open your circle, and call the moon, your guides, ancestors, and make an offering should you so choose.
Ground and Clear: Utilize a cleansing and clearing practice, then take a few deep breaths. Feel the earth beneath you and envision any negative energy flowing away from your body with each exhale. Allow yourself to become present, ready to release.
Write It Down: On your piece of paper, jot down everything you want to let go of—fears, doubts, toxic relationships, or anything that feels heavy. Get specific! Let your thoughts flow freely.
Remember that sometimes there are unforeseen consequences to letting go, so it is important to be specific, unless you are ready for anything.
Light the Candle(s): As you light the white candle, visualize the flame purifying your intentions and illuminating your path to freedom. Speak your intentions out loud, declaring what you wish to release to the universe.
Burn & Release: Carefully burn your paper in the fire-safe container. Watch the smoke rise while visualizing those burdens disappearing into the night. With each moment, feel the weight lift off your shoulders.
If you are so called, we deeply encourage you to put on some music and move your body to release the emotions you are choosing to let go of. Scream, cry, dance, sing and shake it off literally from your body.
You also might want to take a shower or salt bath to help cleanse the release from the body.
Celebrate Your Release: Thank the full moon for its power and energy. Take a few moments in stillness, absorbing the moonlight. Feel the lightness in your heart and the space you've created for new beginnings.
Close with Gratitude: Snuff out your candle to symbolize the closing of this sacred practice. If you released a lot of energy, it might feel good to do another cleansing ritual on your space. Then complete a closing circle ritual with gratitude in your heart.
Bonus Tip:
If you're craving an extra sprinkle of magic, have a celebratory treat afterwards! Whether it’s a delicious herbal tea or a moon-inspired dessert, do something that brings you joy as a reward for your self-care ritual.
Now, go forth, oh mystical one, and bask in the beautiful energy of the full moon. You've released what no longer serves you; let the universe bring in all the wonderful things that are meant for you! ✨🌕

The new moon is a magical time for fresh beginnings and planting seeds of intention. Here’s a ritual guide to help you set your intentions under the enchanting moonlight.
Gather Your Supplies
A journal or sheet of paper
A pen or colored markers
A candle related to your intentions in color (see candle magic above)
Crystals (such as moonstone, clear quartz, or amethyst, or ones specific to your intentions)
A small bowl of water
Optional: herbs or essential oils (like lavender or sage) for added magic
Create Your Sacred Space
Open a Circle: Choose a cozy nook where you won't be disturbed. It could be indoors or in your garden under the open sky. Then open your circle, and call any light beings, guides, ancestors, or energies to assist should you so choose.
Ground and Cleanse: Follow a cleansing or clearing ritual then take a few deep breaths. Close your eyes, visualize a soft, glowing light surrounding you, and let go of any distractions.
Write Your Intentions
Reflect: Think about what you’d like to manifest in this lunar cycle. It can be personal growth, abundance, love, or anything your heart desires.
It might be helpful to also ask your guides or tarot cards for guidance around what would be in the highest good to manifest.
Clarify It: Write down your intentions clearly and positively. Use affirmative language—phrases like “I am” or “I attract” help to manifest your desires!
Be Specific (usually): Instead of vague wishes, hone in on the details. Instead of “I want money” try “I attract stability that allows me to travel.”
It is not wrong to manifest something general, however, doing so opens doors to your manifestation coming through in unexpected and sometimes painful ways. Sometimes, that is exactly what you are called to do, to trust the process, but the process isn't always easy or what you expect.
Follow your intuition.
Voice Your Intentions Aloud
Manifest with Water: Dip your fingers into the bowl of water and sprinkle a few drops over your written intentions as you speak them into being. As the water absorbs the energy, envision your desires flowing into reality.
Energy Boost: Hold your crystals in your hands, closing your eyes. Visualize the energy of the new moon infusing your intentions. Feel the support of the universe as you commit to your goals.
Close the Ritual
Thank the Universe: Express gratitude for the magic that’s unfolding. Keep your intentions in a safe place, revisiting them often to keep the energy alive.
Close Circle: There are two options on what to do with your candle: 1) With the intention of sending your wishes out into the universe, blow out your candle, 2) Allow your candle to burn all the way down until it goes out on its own.
Then close your circle using a closing ritual.
Keep the Vibes Going
After your ritual, keep the energy flowing! Add reminders of your intentions around your space—sticky notes, vision boards, or even affirmations spoken aloud can keep the magic alive until the next new moon.
So go forth, moon child! Set those intentions and watch as the universe dances to help you manifest your dreams under the new moon's nurturing embrace. 🌙✨
Opening to more
Feeling confident in your basics and held by spirit? These practices require a bit more care and as such bring greater rewards should you feel called.
Care is always advised when opening ourselves to energies, such as the chakras, or through dream work. Remember at any time, you can say “no” to an energy.
When manifesting, it is also important to remember to do so from a place of wishing the highest good. Sometimes the universe knows what you need better than your mind can imagine.
-
Candles can be used in almost any ritual to add intention, or be given as an offering. Each color candle has a slightly different meaning (listed below) and can lend power to your ritual through that meaning.
Some important considerations in candle magic are of course fire safety, intention, and direction. You may choose to amplify intentions by carving them into the candle, for example, carving "clarity" into a white candle.
Oils are also often used in candle magic, be it anointing oil or the olive oil in your cabinet (go for quality if you can, if not, the universe will understand). This is where direction comes in. When manifesting, you want to stoke the oil from wick to base, brining energy into your life. When releasing, you do the opposite, expelling energy from your life from base to wick.

Welcome, magical souls! Let’s dive into the mystical world of your third eye, the gateway to intuition, insight, and hidden realms. Opening your third eye can feel like awakening a dormant part of your spirit, and it’s an exciting journey to embark on, though it can also be scary to open to the hidden.
Ask yourself and your guides if you are truly ready before beginning. There is no rush. This practice is best entered when you feel sufficiently grounded and supported in your life.
Third Eye Opening Ritual
1. Create Your Sacred Space
Find a cozy nook where you can connect with your inner self, perhaps lying down. Light some candles, burn incense—think sandalwood or lavender for that calming vibe—and let the atmosphere cradle you in warmth and magic. If you want to open circle you can, but you do not have to. A clearing ritual, however, is heavily advised.
2. Crystals for Clarity
Crystals are like little pockets of cosmic energy! Use amethyst, lapis lazuli, or clear quartz to amplify your intention. Hold your chosen crystal in your hand, or place it on your forehead during meditation. Feel its energy intertwine with your own, guiding you toward clarity and purpose.
3. Embrace the Element of Sound
Sound vibrations can shake loose any stagnant energy! Try using singing bowls, tuning forks, or even chanting "OM" to stimulate your third eye. Feel the vibrations dance through your body, unlocking your spiritual vision.
4. Meditative Opening
To open your third eye, sit or lay comfortably, close your eyes, and take deep breaths into your belly. Visualize a vibrant indigo light glowing at the center of your forehead, where your third eye resides. With each breath, imagine this light expanding, illuminating your awareness. Let any thoughts drift away like autumn leaves on a breeze.
5. Recentering
After opening your third eye, it is important to ground yourself back into the body before returning to daily life. Begin my reconnecting with your tailbone where your root chakra lives. Come back into your body, wiggling fingers and toes, spending some time staying cozy for a bit. Let the transition be slow.
If you opened a circle, remember to close it. Then, if possible, go out into nature, and put your bare feet in the grass, rocking back and forth and feeling the earth beneath you. Picture yourself growing roots down into the earth to help counterbalance the opening in your third eye.
If you feel sleepy or avoidant of screens for a day or two, honor that. The world we live in is highly overstimulating, especially when your third eye is open.
Daily Practices to Strengthen your Third Eye
1. Intuitive Practices
Incorporate intuitive practices into your daily life. Journaling, tarot readings, and dream analyses can help you tune into the whispers of your intuition. When you allow yourself to dive deeper into these practices, you’ll find your third eye blooms.
2. Nature's Wisdom
Go outside and connect with nature. Eyes closed, feel the sun on your skin or the cool breeze caressing your face. Nature is a powerful ally that can heighten your awareness and ground your spirit.
3. Trust Your Gut
Practice trusting your intuition in daily decisions, no matter how small. The more you listen to your inner voice, the louder it will become! Celebrate the moments when you follow your gut—it’s all part of the journey!
4. Paint Your Vision
Creativity fuels the third eye! Grab some paints, doodle, or engage in any artistic outlet that resonates with you. Let your imagination flow; there's no right or wrong. This release can help unlock hidden insights and visions.
5. Stay Open and Aligned
Remember, the process takes time. Stay open to the messages the universe sends your way. Align your daily activities with your intentions, and soon, the extraordinary will start to reveal itself.
Once you start this enchanting journey, you may find that your perception shifts in delightful ways. If you feel burnt out or unbalanced for longer than a day, practice more grounding meditations and connect deeper to your root chakra to strengthen your connection to earth. Your third eye is a compass guiding you through the vast universe of your potential. So let it lead you into realms unseen!

Our dreams are full of symbols and archetypes that can help us connect to our unconscious and the collective unconscious. Here you can find steps to enhance lucid dreaming.
Some shamans intentionally journey to other realms in their dreams, but that is a closed practice usually (but not always). If you are interested in going beyond the dream work offered here, I suggest connecting with your ancestral lineage's beliefs around dreams and reaching out to shamans in your local community should you feel so called.
1. Set Your Intentions
Before you drift off into the realm of dreams, take a moment to set your intentions. Write down what you want to explore in your lucid dream. Whether it's connecting with your spirit guides, visiting another realm, or gathering wisdom, being clear about your goals will enhance your dream journey.2. Practice Reality Checks
Throughout your day, make it a habit to perform reality checks. Ask yourself, “Am I dreaming?” Pinch your nose and see if you can still breathe or try to push your finger through your palm. Building this habit will carry over into your dreams, making it easier to realize when you’re in a dream state.3. Maintain a Dream Journal
Keep a dream journal by your bedside. As soon as you wake up, jot down your dreams to help improve your dream recall. The more detail you include, the better you’ll understand your dream symbols and meanings, which can aid in becoming aware during dreams.4. Try a Waking Technique (Sparingly)
Set your alarm to wake you after five to six hours of sleep, when REM cycles are longer. Stay awake for 20-30 minutes before returning to sleep while focusing on your desire to lucid dream. This technique can help your mind become more alert while your body sleeps, perfect for magical explorations! That said, I suggest not intentionally waking yourself more than one night a week as it is very important to honor the body's need for restful sleep.5. Visualize Before Sleep
As you lay down to sleep, visualize a scenario where you are wielding your witchy powers. Imagine flying on your broomstick or casting spells in a magical forest. This kind of focused imagination can set the stage for a vivid, lucent dream experience.6. Use Crystals and Herbs
Incorporate crystals like Amethyst, Moonstone, Labradorite, or Fluorite, which are known for their dream-enhancing properties. Place them under your pillow or beside your bed. You can also use herbs such as mugwort or lavender in a sachet to encourage profound dreams and enhance your lucidity.7. Call Upon Your Guides
As you enter your dream state, summon your spirit guides or ancestors. Ask them for guidance during your dream journey. They can offer insight and support, unlocking deeper wisdom and magical experiences while you traverse the dream world.8. Embrace Control and Exploration
Once you realize you're in a lucid dream, embrace the thrill! Start small by practicing basic control skills like speaking or even flying. As you gain confidence, explore the more intricate worlds and experiences you wish to see.Sometimes, dreams can be scary as well. In those moments remember you are in control, the dream state is temporary and your body is safe. Call upon your guides to be with you if you feel fear taking over and remember you have the power to say "no" to any energy even in a dream.
9. Grounding Upon Awakening
When you wake up, take a moment to ground yourself in the here and now, perhaps through a five senses exercise (5 things you can see, 4 things you can hear, 3 things you can touch, 2 smells, 1 taste). Reflect on your journey, jot down the insights gained, and offer thanks to the spirits and guides who assisted you. This practice helps retain the magic and wisdom from your dream explorations.10. Practice, Practice, Practice
Lucid dreaming is a skill, and the more you practice, the better you'll get! Keep experimenting with different techniques, and soon you’ll be soaring through your witchy dreams like the magical being you are.Happy dream adventures, witches! ✨

Are you ready to dive deep into the magical waters of your past lives? Or is there something in this life that you still carry the weight of? We are all imperfect humans at the end of the day, and releasing our karma, then bringing in forgiveness for ourselves and those who have wronged us, can free up massive amounts of energy so you can better serve the universe on your path.
The journey is not easy, and if you have a therapist or a trusted friend, perhaps schedule time with them in advance to occur after your release. Sometimes we can feel drained after, or things might go wrong for a few days. So remember to resource yourself in advance and to lean on others!
If you feel ready and called to a karmic release then buckle up, because we're about to embark on a witchy journey to release old karmic ties and embrace the vibrant energy of the present!
What You’ll Need:
A quiet space: Find a cozy nook where you can truly connect with your inner self.
Candles: Choose colors that resonate with you and your intentions—purple for spirituality, green for healing, or black for protection.
Crystals: Selenite, amethyst, and obsidian are great options for clearing and absorbing negativity. Follow your gut
A journal: To jot down your experiences and insights.
Herbs or incense: Sage or lavender to cleanse your space.
Steps to Release:
Open Circle and Cleanse Your Space: Open a circle, definitely call your guides for assistance, and do a few clearing practices. Light your candles, using candle magic practices and burn your herbs or incense. As the smoke swirls, visualize it carrying away any lingering negativity from your past lives. Ground yourself by taking deep, calming breaths.
Meditate on Past Lives (or the event in this life that burdens you): Close your eyes and enter a meditative state. Ask for guidance from your spirit guides or ancestors. Let go of any expectations and simply allow visions or feelings to come forth. Embrace the imagery that arises, whether it’s a feeling of anger, guilt, joy, sadness, or even chaos.
Identify Karmic Patterns: Recognize the themes or challenges that have followed you through lifetimes. Write them down in your journal. This could be patterns of relationships, fear, or habits that no longer serve you.
Perform a Release Ritual: Take a moment to honor and acknowledge these past experiences. One powerful method is to write down each karmic tie and then burn the piece of paper, sending that energy back to the universe. As you watch the smoke rise, repeat affirmations like, “I release all that no longer serves me” or “I am free from the chains of my past.” Get physical with it, moving your body, screaming or crying, or whatever you need. It might help to call in a Goddess here such as Kali or Lilith, or even the element of fire to help you cut ties with what no longer serves you. Trust yourself to heal yourself.
Call in Forgiveness Energy: After you’ve released the old, it’s time to call in forgiveness! Calling in a Great Mother Goddess such as Gaia, Sophia, Mother Mary, Isis, Demeter, or Hecate is highly recommended. Ask them for forgiveness and for the strength to forgive yourself and those who have wronged you. Picture it like a white light washing over your body, and perhaps take a sea salt bath, picturing the water glowing with that same light. Trust your knowing to tell you when this step feels complete.
Set New Intentions: Write down intentions for how you want to be in your life moving forward. Say them out loud, and if you have crystals, hold them as you state your intentions, charging them with your desires.
Close the Ritual: Thank your guides for their assistance and extinguish your candles. Take a moment to feel gratitude for the healing that has taken place. Keep your journal nearby to reflect on any changes or new insights in the coming days.
Each release may also result in things going "wrong" or being chaotic for a timeframe depending on what it is you released. For example, the wifi going out during an important meeting, your phone breaking, or even a break up. Remember to look for the silver lining in these events as somehow they are connected to your release.
Story Time: After a major release, I got a flat tire that took my whole morning up. Then I was told I needed all new tires-- a major pain, both timing wise and financially. However, when I picked up my car the tech told me that the tire on my driver's side had a tear in it they couldn't see until removing it, likely from scrap metal in the road, and that even a small pebble getting lodged in there would have caused it to blow while I was driving and I'd have crashed. What felt like karmic punishment, ended up being a blessing in disguise.
Embrace this magical process and remember, each release is a step closer to the most authentic version of yourself.
Now go forth, beautiful soul, and shine even brighter than ever before!

Draw Love Into Your Life (or Intensify Existing Love)
What You’ll Need:
1 pink candle (for love)
1 red candle (for passion)
A small piece of paper
A pen (preferably red or pink)
A bowl of water
A pinch of salt
Dried rose petals (or any flower that symbolizes love to you)
A quiet space for your ritual
Steps:
Open Circle: Find a quiet spot where you can perform your spell without distractions. Lay out your materials and take a few deep breaths to center yourself. Open your circle and call in any guides. Consider calling in Aphrodite/Venus, Freyja, Hathor, or Inanna as well as any goddesses related to sex magic such as Lilith or Ishtar.
Prepare Your Candles: Carve your candles with your intentions, red for passion/sex and pink for love, trust, and friendship, then oil them pulling the energy to you from wick to base. Light both candles while visualizing a warm, loving energy surrounding you.
Set Your Intention: Take the small piece of paper and write down what you desire in relationship. Be specific about the qualities you want in a partner, but keep the vibe open to unexpected joy! If you are intending to deepen love or passion with a current partner, or a crush, be sure to have your intention clearly state "to amplify and help us open to what is already true and in the highest good." You do not want to create false love or attraction, only open further to what is meant for you. Creating false love can have massive karmic backlash as it is black magic.
Whisper Your Wish: Fold the paper and hold it close to your heart. Close your eyes and visualize the kind of love you're inviting into your life. Imagine it flowing to you from the universe, wrapping you in warmth and comfort, or perhaps passion and creativity.
Create the Love Bath: In the bowl of water, add a pinch of salt to purify it. As you sprinkle in the salt, say, “With this salt, I cleanse my heart and soul. Love will flow to me; may it be whole.”
Infuse with Love: Add the dried rose petals to the water, stirring gently as you chant:
“Petals of love, come dance and sway,
Bring my heart’s desire to me today.”Place the Paper: Drop the folded paper into the bowl of water, allowing it to soak for a few moments as you focus on the love you’ve imagined.
Close the Ritual: Allow the candles to burn down safely while you visualize that love coming to you. Afterward, let the water pour onto the earth as an offering, sealing your intention with gratitude.
Keep the Energy Flowing: Take the remaining petals and paper and keep them close by—on your altar, your bedside, or in a special keep-sake bag to continually invite love energy into your life.
Remember: love often finds us when we least expect it in unexpected ways! ✨

You will need:
Two candles (white and red)
A small mirror
Something from your maiden self (a photo, journal entry, piece of jewelry)
A bowl of water
Seeds or flower petals
The Practice:
Create sacred space. Light the white candle for the maiden self.
Hold the item from your maiden years. Speak to her. Thank her for every adventure, every mistake, every moment of wild freedom. Tell her what you'll carry forward. Tell her what you're releasing. Let yourself grieve. Let yourself rage if needed. This is holy work.
Look in the mirror. See her one last time.
Extinguish the white candle. Sit in the darkness. This is the threshold. This is the underworld. Place your hands on your belly, your heart, your womb space. Feel the death. Feel the becoming.
When you're ready, light the red candle for the mother self. Anoint yourself with the water—third eye, heart, womb. Speak your intentions for this new identity. What kind of mother/creatrix are you becoming? What do you create? What do you protect? What is your medicine?
Offer the seeds or petals to the earth. You are planting your mother self.
Keep the red candle burning as you journal, dance, or simply sit in your new sovereignty.
